Recently an article appeared on the Los Alamos archive that explains how, for certain systems, dynamics can be derived from probabilistic arguments alone. I think that the formalism developed in the article can be generalised, and used to explain the physical laws we observe without necessarily invoking ''compressibility'' of information in our universe.
