Provided the same denominator is used for all observations by a
particular observer. Different observers may have different
denominators, and still have consistent world views. They may have
difficulty communicating with each other. Science is so effective for
most things for homo sapiens on earth, because for most things we
experience, the measure relative to ourselves does not vary significantly.
