Comp and isomorphic continuity.

Another question on the Scanner/Transporter/Duplicator [The "STD" to coin
yet another acronym.]:

As I understand it Comp says that all those physical universe isomorphic
couplings to the output of the UD somehow exist. But the STD - itself such
a physical isomorphism - somehow must switch other physical isomorphisms
on and off.

The STD seems a contradiction to the foundation of COMP.
