I didn't look at the article too closely, but it seems to be talking about special relativity rather than general relativity; so, it's worth pointing out that physicists don't actually think there are any incompatibilities between SR and quantum physics, since quantum field theories like the "Standard Model" of particle physics are all completely relativistic (they are Lorentz-invariant, meaning the laws look exactly the same in the different frames of SR).
