Jacques, I basically agree with what you say, excepted for the last
sentence. I doubt that the measure of a conscious thought is a simple
concept. Consciousness is *not* a physical parameter like others. It is
*not* measurable by an external apparatus. It is a subjective feeling that
we can only experience for ourselves, not for other human people. We just
infer logically that the other people are conscious because of the
similarity of their behavior with ours.
