Quantum suicide does seem pretty dumb, but consider a game of chance from
a science fiction story (I can't remember which one). If you win this
game, you receive a monetary payoff from the dealer, but if you lose, you
are killed and the dealer gets your corpse (to sell for body parts) and
your estate.
Suppose you have a choice to play this game, would you do it? Or more
generally, what is a resonable decision theory when every thing (or maybe
experience) already exists and has a definite measure?
